CALL FOR ABSTRACT INFORMATION:
The inaugural Offshore Middle East Conference & Exhibition Student Paper Program will take place at 2013 event in Doha, Qatar on January 21-23, 2013.
The purpose of the program is to showcase regional engineering talent and student development in regional universities. The program also serves to bring together university students with technical experts in their fields of study and allow regional oil and gas companies to identify future talent.
The Offshore Middle East 2013 Student Program solicits submissions for technical papers in topical areas that include but are not limited to field development, drilling & completion, facilities engineering, flow assurance, pipeline construction & installation, platform construction & installation, subsea technology, reservoir management, production optimization, asset integrity, and Well control.
All student authors and their universities will be recognized in the Opening ceremony of Offshore Middle East 2013. Papers will also be displayed in a selected poster area where students may discuss their papers with event delegates.
This is an excellent opportunity for students to engage with practicing professionals active in the industry and work on their career development. The program also allows Offshore Middle East to give back value to the region for its support of this conference.
Abstract Submittal
Abstracts must have a title and list all authors. Full contact information for the primary contact author (company affiliation, telephone, and email address) must be provided. Please designate which author will be the speaker and ensure all details are correct as theses will be used for pre-event marketing purposes. Presentations must be of interest and of practical value to executives, managers, engineers, and geologists and geophysicists engaged in the petroleum industry. Papers will be selected based on a review of abstracts by the Program Committee. Papers must not be commercial in nature.
